Day 28

Job 32:1-34:37

One of the most asked questions I hear is….. Why do bad things happen to good people? Generic answer… Well it’s just part of God’s plan. That’s a pretty basic answer but holds a lot of truth to it. There is a reason behind everything that works for God’s glory. Whether we agree with it or not, whether we are “good” or bad it is really for God’s glory,

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,  for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

What was the purpose of the satan  testing Job? Why would God give Job to him to test? Why did God call Job out of everyone on earth before satan even mentioned him? We can make a few assumptions about it. God knew that Job would always be honorable in his actions, thoughts, motives. Job may have a deep conversation and ask God why am I going through this? What have I done to deserve this? I think that we can ask God these questions while we are going through trials.

“Count it all joy, my brothers,[b] when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”  James 1:2-3
