Day 34

Exodus 7:14-9:35

Have you ever met someone that was so hard headed that no matter what you brought before them they would never change their view? Usually that person is so blinded by their views that they can see what they believe may be wrong. In modern day.. There are so many guys that are living their lives through College football that they worship everything about it. They worship their team as if they are a God, they worship the day that games are played on like it is a holy day. Everything they wear has their college team branded on it. Some of them even go as far as to put stickers on their cars, license plate frames with the insignia of their team. But when they get to Church they stand there like statues during worship, during the message they have a blank stare at their Pastor thinking about how their team won or lost the day before…. That’s getting a bit off topic…

Pharaoh’s heart is so hardened that he will not let the Israelites leave. With 7 plagues brought on to Egypt by God, Pharaoh’s heart is still hardened and will not let Moses and his people leave. But there is some realization from the Egyptian people…. They are starting to see that they are being held in bondage by the Israelites now. They are no longer the ones in control, God is in utmost control over the situation.

Plagues: The Plague of blood- all water is turned into blood, Plague of Frogs- Frogs come out of the Nile and end up everywhere, The Plague of Gnats- from dust to Gnats that infiltrate everything everywhere, sound familiar? Dust to life??, The Plague of Flies- Egyptian homes will be filled with flies but only the Egyptians, The Plague against Livestock- horses, donkeys, camels, cattle, sheep, and goats will suffer a deadly plague but only the Egyptian livestock, Plague of Boils- from soot to Boils but only on the Egyptians, The Plague of Hail- mass destruction the hail fell everywhere except the land of Goshen where the Israelites lived. And this folks is just the beginning!!!
